Hi i am trying to find the wife of Adam Finlay he had 5 children John Finlay born in 1812 presbyterian church Killinchy,married Anna MCormick 1831. Adam Finlay born 1814 in Killinchy no more information on him.Margaret Finlay born 1817, killinchy no more information Hans born 1807 married Christian Beattie in 1827  in Killinchy Co Down N Ireland and James born 1809 married Sarah Hamilton 1825 Killinchy.That is all the family we have picked up on any help would be great.I found a marriage of Adam Finlay married a Flora Bishop in 1807 in ireland but i cant prove if this is the Adam Finlays  wife that i am looking for.Been to the church to have a look at church records but cant find anything there.The Finlay grave starts with a Mary Finlay died 28th December 1739 aged 22 yrs. then it is John and Anna MCormick next so John father must not be buried in that grave that is all the information i have .Thanks Julie

Hello.  I am also researching family in Killinchy.  I have contacted Finlays who still live in Killinchy and believe that Adam Finlay who married a Flora Bishop is their direct ancestor.  I know that James Finlay is my great great great grandfather but I am not sure if it is the James who married Mary Kelly or the James who married Sarah Hamilton.
