Is it possible to include a jpeg image in a G2G question?

I'll add my voice to this.  There have been several times I've wanted to include a screen shot or other graphic and have been turned off by the requirement to upload a file to another server or to some profile here.

Yes, if the photo is somewhere on a viewable website.

Click answer which opens the  white "your answer" box (this is where you would type in the text for your answer.)

Click the icon that looks like a photo in the toolbar (it's next to the red circle). Then paste the url. You can edit the size as well.

If you aren't in the answer box you won't see the toolbar.

The above applies the same if you are starting a new question.

Is it possible to use/upload a jpeg from my hard drive? Must I upload it to a website? Could that website be WikiTree? (A "G2G Photo Upload" profile?)

What is the photo of you want to upload to the G2G?

I don't really know how else to add it to the G2G other than adding a link.

I was going to make a suggestion regarding duplicate profiles. The image is a screenshot of a proposed "New Person Not Added Yet" page. It's not that important but other forum type sites find it useful to display screenshots, images, etc.  I was serious about a "G2G Photo Upload" profile. Would creating a free-space profile, uploading an image, and linking to it in a G2G question, be a violation of the rules or the spirit of WikiTree?

After you have uploaded the photo.

Go to the photo's page. Then click on the photo. If it's showing by itself copy that URL.

If not you might need to click on the photo again.
