His wife Elizabeth took the family, Thomas, James, John, Robert, and Patsy to Maury Co. Tn about 1810. Another daughter Cathey married James Ramsey and went to Maury also. I suspect the family was from Rowan or Iredell counties NC since all of their neighbors came from there. Robert who married Elizabeth Teas is a possible father or uncle and the Robert Moore who married Martha ? and died in 1779 is a strong possibility but since he named his first son either Thomas or James, those two men in Iredell are also strong candidates.
