Does Henry Jones have an army record?

Henry Jones may have been in the British Army and deployed to New Zealand on the troopship True Briton in 1852. Anecdotes have him arriving with his 12 yr old nephew Matthew, and the coroners inquest into the accidental drowning of his other nephew's (James) wife Jane in Taranaki in 1856 lists him as a Lieutenant. Does anyone have any supporting info?

There was a Henry Jones with the 58th (Rutlandshire) Regiment of Foot in New Zealand who is known to have taken discharge in New Zealand.

There was also a Henry Jones with the 65th Regiment in New Zealand.

There should be muster records available.
