Looking for parents of Jane Bennet who married Andrew Burnham in 1757 in Windham,Vt .

Andrew Burnham m Jane Bennett offered Patriotic Service in the American Revolution. His Daughters of the American Revolution ancestor number is A107677.

DAR is wrong about his birth location. He was born in Chebacco parish, Essex county, Mass. Now called the town of Essex. Then, part of Ipswich.

His brother Isaac is already here on Wikitree tree. Ebenezer moved from Chebacco parish to Windham CT with his children; and bought a farm there circa 1774. I don't know when he moved, though.

Coincidentally, Ebenezer's father John is my direct ancestor. In a further coincidence, Andrew's patriotic service was selling stuff to the CT regiment my direct Taylor ancestor served in.

parents of Jane Bennett Burnham 1734-1808 were:  Jane Giddings (1703-1764)  and William Bennett Jr. (1699-1764)  Both parents lines go back to Henry III and beyond.

It was Windham, CT not VT. Just down the Connecticut river a bit!

Coincidentally, your Andrew was born a couple miles down the road from where I grew up. His family is still in town. His distant cousin (and mine too) Harold Burnham just caulked my schooner. Small world!
