Dempsey Adams maarried Elizabeth T.Peebles, Baggett, daughter of John Peebles III and Lavinia Horton widow of Aleander Bagett.  This is  poved through estate records of Wake Co. NC and oher genealogical sources.  Check the Pebles an Horton lines.
