We know that the father of Dena Chambers was James Ambers Chambers.  He was born in Franklin county Alabama in 1883, but birth records were destroyed around 1890.   We also know he died between 1926 and 1930 either in Alabama or Oklahoma.  A search by the state of Alabama revealed no death certificate, but his widow is in Sulphur, Murray County, Oklahoma in 1930 with small children.  Any help in locating burial place of James as well as who his parents are would be appreciated.

I can get inomation and make it availabel for several of James Amber Chambers descendat.  He was my wifes gandfather.

This record shows date of birth. The original(not shown), says father is Willie or Nillie Chambers. This was handwritten on the card by James. Although it says father, he could have written in his wife's name.

Name: James Ambers Chambers
County: Franklin
State: Alabama
Birth Date: 13 Dec 1883
Race: White

The date of berth we had, but not the place of burial.  Also, the Willie Chambers shown is the spouse and grandmother of my wife.  Her maiden name was Bohannon and she had several siblings including a twin brother name Willis.  This info is provided from personal knowledge of "Grannie (Willie) Chambers"  I personally took her to church many times prior to her death.  The answere to the question is appreciated, but what we really need is the parents of James A Chambers and to locate his burial place.  Thanks.  J. F. Caldwell
was his wife's name Carolyn?  In family search, there is a pension payment card for him after he died on 10 April 1925 but doesn't mention what state it was in.  He registered for the draft in1917-1918 in Dekalb Co Arkansas.
James Ambers wife was Willie E Bohannon.  My wife is the grand daughter of James A. Chambers and Willie E. Bohannon Chambers.  A spouse named Carolyn is not a posiblility and there was no pension.  Although James did register for he draft in 1917, he never served in the military.
