How can I find my great grandfathers family.my g father was born in Clinton co. Ky .in 1885-1888.

If you would like a free site to search, other than Wikitree, you might want to try FamilySearch.org. Here you would enter the info you know into the site''s search engine & see what records appear. These will give you clues or definite info about your ancestors. Once you have this info you can add it to Wikitree.

Hi Zula - Given that birth date, your grandfather should show up as a young teen in the 1900 census, hopefully still living with his parents. FamilySearch.org will have the census records in their Search results.  Most libraries' websites also link to HeritageQuest which also offers searchable census records.   Census records from 1850 on are great resources because they will list the names and ages of the members of the household, and often the relationships to the head of household.

If you are looking for the ancestry of Carlos - it might be the man below by dates and locations.  It looks like James Patrick married Laura (? Addie) Brown.
