My grandmother was Osa Hale and her husband was Charles Hale who died from working in the Coal Mines of KY.    They had three children.  Carolyn, Steve and Walter.

do you know what part of Kentucky they were from? the reason i asked is of course i have a Hale brick wall but Charles is a name that is used for several generations in the family and there was a granddaughter Rosetta Leah of my brick wall Joseph Hale that went to Kentucky in 1924 to give birth to a child out of wedlock. I've wondered if perhaps she went to her grandpa Hales family ...in those days Pike county Ky was a pretty good distance from Sullivan county TN
