I was walking through an old cemetary in Camden South Carolina and saw some Hendrix graves, the one I am asking about is E M Hendrix , with a dob of 03/04/1861 dod 03/03/1915 . I have no other details, but was wondering if any one could help shed a light on this part of the family tree?

This is his death record. It says his father's name is Alic Hendrix & his mother's name is Lida Elmore. He was born Mar 5, 1861. It lists a cause of death, but it is hard to read. I think it is heart related. Record says he is married but does not list wife:

Name: Eli M Hendrix
Birth Date: 1861
Gender: Male
Race: White
Death Date: 3 Mar 1915
Age at Death: 54
Death Place: Kershaw, South Carolina
Certificate Number: 004843
Volume Number: 10

Corrected (I had the wrong man before):

1910 census finds in Camden Ward 3, Kershaw, South Carolina:

Eily (looks like the census taker had trouble spelling this name) Hendrix, 49; first marriage; married 20 years, self and parents born South Carolina; he was a house carpenter. Wife Anna, 37, b South Carolina. 0 births. Living with them are a niece Annabelle Hinson, 15, single; and a cousin, Lula Young, 24 single.
