Which uber G2G category for genealogy resources?

Periodically people are posting links in g2g to great online resources of genealogical research interest. I would tend to categorize them as Genealogy Help (and started to move some there), but a lot of them end up in Tree House. Please advise. Thanks.

Jillaine,

Making this a comment, because it is not an answer.

What I have are not exactly "online resources of genealogical research interest," what I think of as Kitty's List sort of things.

I do have loads of references to online books (including URLs).  I have kept my own bibliographies, organized by states, and by surnames.  Do you know of a freespace where these could be posted?

Maybe we should start our own bibliography.  I cannot be the only one to save these things.  What do you think?

Cynthia, Thanks. I think this is a separate topic, worthy of its own focus. (I believe it's been suggested before so you might find an existing g2g topic that addresses it or could be revived/recycled.)

I'm simply asking how we should now be categorizing individual posts to G2G that announce some new or newly discovered genealogical research resource.

Jillaine, I would think they would be Tree House, since they are not requests for help, but rather sharing great finds.

Thanks Abby. I'm still not fully grokking the Tree House.

Wouldn't announcements of profiles of the week also go into the tree house. I'm seeing them in both Policy & Standards as well as Treehouse. Seems like Treehouse is the right place?
Yes, I think the Tree House is the better place for those, too.
