what happened to the request link on profile? [closed]

Question

I have a request link in my privacy button on the profile I manage where I can add the email address of another.  The email address is from Australia and it comes back as rejected.  There used to be a link on the front page of profile where a person could request joining the trusted list.  There isn't one there.  How about adding it back?

Still there on RHS of profile page (under heading: Collaboration) - "Request to join this profile's Trusted List so that you can edit."

Sorry, Peter; that is not what I am requesting.  That is only for ones on the trusted list. there is a link that goes to editing, a link that goes to the trusted list under the privacy button, a link to improving the profile and a link to upload images.  There used to be a link where a member could make a request to the profile manager to jointhe trusted list.  It isn't there anymore and that is why I would like to have it back.

Mags,I'm also not understanding where it used to be that you're no longer seeing it. When I look at the link you provided, I see Request to join Trusted List on the right hand side under Collaboration.

I think (!!) I figured out the problem.  There has been programming changes again for the profiles.  Even though the profile is open to all who view it, as a profile manager, my view is different.  I am currently on the privately viewed listing. If I go to the "trusted list" under collaboratiion, it shows I can do merging, either because I am the PM or have signed the honor code. Now, if I go to the public side for viewing, the link is there to join the trusted list.  That is why I didn't SEE it!  Oh, and BTW, this is Mary not Mags.    Looks like I will have to change my initial for my first name.  There are too many Mary Hammonds on wikitree.  That was the reason I did it.
