Where are census records for Patrick Joseph 'PJ' Kennedy 1858-1929 ?

Question

Ancestor of JFK.  I have only found the 1920 record.  Hope someone can find earlier census records.

OK I found him residing with his mother in 1880 family # 232 Boston, MA

Don't know if any of this helps.  There is a Patrick Kennedy is Boston, Ward 2 in1900 - and census says 'house closed'?

I went and checked at heritagequest. I found one for 1860 in Worcester Co. MA for a family of 4.  There was a P Kennedy age 29 with wife M age 29, G (child) age 5 and P (child) age 2

Didn't find anything for 1870 but did find one for 1880 in Middlesex Co MA for PJ Kennedy, age 38 and was a Varnisher;Wife Annette 31, housewife, child Ambrose H. age 9 attending school. Thats where it ends.  there was no census for 1890 as almost all the records burned in a fire.  Have you checked Tax records or county records?

Thank you for looking.  There are so many people with the name Patrick Joseph Kennedy.  I think the ones you located are not the PJ Kennedy-1032 ancestor of JFK.   This PJ Kennedy is married 1887 in Boston to Mary Augusta HICKEY, 4 children - Joseph Patrick 1888-1969, Francis Benedict 1891-1892,  Mary Loretta 1892-1972, Margaret Louise 1898-1974
