Do We Need A Research Log - Task List Function?

Most genealogy programs have a function called Research Log, To Do or Task List.  It is a great feature that I use all the time to guide future research and to avoid looking at the same source again.  I know there is a scratch pad box on my Navigation Home Page, but that is personal to me. I'm thinking of a function on a profile page to aid in collaboration. That way, when there are multiple PMs, everyone would know where research is needed.  If the list was changed, a notification would go out to PMs and others who have that profile on their Watchlists.  I think it would be a great tool, especially on Brick Wall profiles.

Not a bad idea. Perhaps it could be a function one could insert in text box (Perhaps highlighted or colored) and research notes could be added there so they wouldn't get lost in other bio/source/acknowledgement sections.
