If you haven't seen AJ's story about meeting Christina Hendricks yet, check it out over in the G+ group. It's seriously adorable.

AJ might be using her photo in an upcoming Buzzfeed article about the Global Family Reunion, and it would be awesome to have her connected on WikiTree so when people show up they can see her tree. According to Wikipedia, her mother is American and her father is English, so this might be a simple one to do. She's also married to Geoffrey Arend, who was born in New York, so the closer connection to AJ might be through him.

Anyone who wants to help out can post here or message me, and I'll add you to the trusted list.

Most people know her from Mad Men, but she also had a memorable three episode role on the Sci Fi show Firefly before that.  Memorable might not be exactly the right word, but I was trying to keep it G-rated for public consumption.

Someone could start here:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christina_Hendricks

Thanks, Chris.
This family: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Stept-14 connects to her.  Its a Pittsburgh Jewish family which should be an easy connection to AJ.  Maybe via Sunstein-1.
Nice find, Steven.

Who wants to help branch out from the Stepts?

This would require confirmation and source as it's from a tree on the web.

Jackie Sue Raymond (daughter of Gene Raymond and Norma Lee Trent) was born 1946. She married (1) Robert Hendricks. She married (2) Jon Stept on 2002.

Norma Lee Trent (daughter of Alonzo Noel Trent and Amy Elmo Garrett) was born January 15, 1926 in Maize, Kansas. She married Gene Raymond.

Clicking on names takes some lines back further.

I've found a possible connection to the Global Tree through one of Geoffrey Arend's great granduncles, Bernard Arend. However, it's going to be in the range of 45 to 50 steps, so let's not stop working on Christina's tree.

There have also been a good number of branches reaching out from Christina's stepfather's ancestor, Morris Stept. As Steven mentioned, the proximity to AJ's family in Pittsburgh in that part of the 20th century increases the likelihood that we'll be able to connect to the Global Tree there. There are lots of children and spouses to choose from, so anyone who wants to explore this possibility can just pick a profile and keep working out from there!

Chris Hoyt also mentioned a tree she found for Jackie Raymond (Christina's mother). Does anyone want to take a look at it and check for sources and accuracy?

Thank you all for your work on this!
