Can anyone help me find the parents of Abner S. Hunter of N.C. ?

Abner was born in N.C. and lived in Madison Co., Tnn. most of his life.  His wife was charity Jane Smith  born 1833,Tn.  we cant find his parents or Abners or Janes death or burial. Abner is in dist  1-Madison Co.,tn in 1860-1870-1880...I have searched for yrs and am at the point of giving up on  trying to figure this out......Our DNA shows we are from Henry Hunter from Derry, Ireland in about 1760 (?) who along with his 4 brothers settled in Mecklingberg, N.C. and founded the Prosperty  Presbyterian Church....PLEASE help if you can.....THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS

There is a tree on Ancestry (maybe yours?) listing parents. Tree is owned by user name hunter2nd. Also lists DNA. If this is not your tree, perhaps you can contact them on Ancestry:

There was a William Hunter from Onstead County, North Carolina who in 1751 sold to a John Hunter of Woodberry, Fairfield County, Colony of Connecticut  50;acres in Southold , New York that had been given to Elizabeth Hunter (wife of Thomas Hunter) by ......the witnesses were Elisha and Ezekiel Hunter.
