Lincoln and Gettsyburg Connection

Question

I just made a connection between [[Gettys-51|John Gettys]], son of the founder of Gettysburg, and [[Todd-282|Mary (Todd) Lincoln]], wife of Abraham Lincoln.They were 2nd cousins once removed!  The Gettys were gone from Gettsyburg by 1815, so it is most likely that Lincoln had no idea that his wife was related to its founders.
