A couple of us are trying to resolve marriages for Eleazer Jewett ... prior to doing a merge (Jewett-218 and Jewett-1553).

Of the women (A, B, C), we have books that say he was married to A and C, and other books that say B and C.  Now we run across this Ancestry.com page http://records.ancestry.com/eleazer_jewett_records.ashx?pid=440715 that says he married all three ... some of that, date-wise doesn't add up.  There are no sources listed for this information at that web-site.  So, I'm wondering if somebody here, with an Ancestry.com account, could take a little deeper look at the data on Ancestry and help us along ... it would be really nice to have the original marriage certificates but we'd settle for simple yes or no on each.  That would be yes there's a certificate or no there's not .. oh, and maybe some dates from those certificates.

I can only find two marriages - 3 listed on one tree but two of them are the same person anyway. There is a pdf there too, no sources, but I'll c&p it here:

Elizer Jewett
Biographical Sketch
ELEAZER was born in Ipswich, Essex, MA and moved to Connecticut. He settled in Norwich, New London, CT. On Dec. 5, 1698, he
purchased 75 acres of land near the Shetucket River. He was one of sixteen persons on the roll of accepted inhabitants, characterized as
farmers, who settled in the area around the crotch of the Shetucket and Quinebaug Rivers. The area was called Lisbon.
MARY (ARMSTRONG) LAMB was the widow of Ebenezer Lamb, whom she married May 6, 1690. On May 29, 1683, Ann Lamb of
New London bought from Henry Stevens of Stonington the four years unexpired time of service of her son, Ebenezer Lamb, witnessed
by John Fish and Thomas Lamb (Stonington Records). He died July 21, 1694. She then married ELEAZER on Apr. 1, 1700. All of their
children were born in Norwich, CT. She died on Nov. 16, 1715.
An entry in the Boston Transcript uses the first name of Sarah, widow of Ebenezer Lamb, who married ELEAZER JEWETT.
ELEAZER married second on Sep 3, 1717, Mary (Griswold) Tracy, widow of Jonathan Tracy, who was the son of Lt. Thomas Tracy.
Mary had married Jonathan Tracy on Jul. 11, 1672, at the age of 15. She was the daughter of Francis Griswold of Norwich, CT, and was
born in Saybrook, Middlesex, CT on Aug. 26, 1656. She died on Sep. 18, 1723.
ELEAZER "conveys to his son ELEAZER junior of Norwich all his estate in Massachusetts, and ELEAZER junior of Norwich sells land
in Rowley to Joseph Barker and appears personally in Rowley Dec. 2, 1742, and acknowledges the deed."

I'll keep looking though, see if I can find some sources :)
Hi again Bob :) if you pm me I'll send you copies of the 2 records Ive found.
Everyone probably already knew this but me; Libraries often have ancestry accounts.  So when you have a lead and you can't tell if the Ancestry information is just a repeat of someones elses unsourced tree or if it's one of the great documents they have available to members, you can alway run down to your local library and access it for free!  Mags
Thanks Mags ... in the heat of battle I always forget about this!!
Oh, and thanks to the above, I think we have that wife-A and wife-B are one in the same ... the merge goes on!  Thanks to all.

All the family trees are using the same source from someones FTM.  I am not finding anything.  Your link just leads to the compilation of records from other family trees. When it says 10 records, it is 10 profiles with no sources.
