Can I get back an edidt I did before a merge?

I edited and saved a file on a new spouse then found it on a GEDCOM and merged it   but my edit has disappered, can I get it back or will I just have to write it all again?

Hi Christine,

You can't undo a merge but the edit history from both profiles, from before they were merged, should still be available.

(Although, it doesn't look like http://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Special:NetworkFeed&who=Gage-849 was merged.)
