I need info regarding my G-Grandmother Neppie Duckworth Brown, and my GG-Grandfather James Brown. Can anyone help?

Here's what I found on Ancestry.com, but have no sources:

Susan Penelope "Neppie" Duckworth (1861-1948) born in Monroe County, MS (to John B. Duckworth (1829-1863) & Margaret M Murphy (1832-1881)) and died in Calhoun City, Calhoun County, MS.  What I found shows Obediah Duckworth (1776-1840) from Anson, NC and Covington, MS as her grandfather.

James Brown (1834-1862) was born in NC and moved to the Tazewell, GA area around 1852 when he got married, I think.  With help, I've discovered that he was a member of Co. A, of the GA 27th Infantry in the Civil War.  We found a letter from his wife, Elisabeth A Highsmith-Brown, and his final muster papers that tell when he died, but not how or where.  She appears to have stayed in the same vicinity at least until 1870, but there is no mention of her that I can find after that.  I have no clue who James' parents were.

I would greatly appreciate any info anyone may have about these two.  Thanks to T. for all the help already.

I don't believe this is my Enoch from what I know of Enoch Coleman.  My Enoch has a middle initial of N, if my records are correct.  It could be an H, but I think N is most likely.  Don't know what it stands for, though.  I have no idea of an initial or name for his father, other than James, however.

Also - don't know if this means anything at all, but my family has a very strong Native American appearance - dark eyes, dark, hair, facial features, etc.  I've considered the possibility of this heritage - and would be thrilled - but don't know how to ever go about establishing it or finding the link.  It was on both sides - my grandmother Dye, and grandfather, Brown.  I know that the English heritage could account for the dark features, as well, but haven't counted anything out yet.
