Frances' Parents Charles Grills Mariner and Frances Mountford.

James and Frances' children were Samuel Reid b. Glasgow 1834. d. December 10th 1908  Frances Reid b. 1843. Glasgow. d. Glasgow December 29th 1914.

Samuel married Jane Sommerville in Glasgow on December 31st 1855.   Frances married David Allen in Glasgow on April 11th 1873.
