by the way , FRANKS seems to be the largest group here at last count, 1499 FRANKSs

Looks like this has been asked before and the decision then seemed to be go with Franken

I think many of the 1499 Franks, are actually people with the surname Franks, rather than from the area populated by the Franks or Francs.  It looks like there could be more with the LNAB or CLN of Franken.
