Biography

Elijah was born in Ashford CT in 1753. [1]

Elijah married Ruth Balch, daughter of Jonathan & Esther (Hall) Balch, on 4 Nov 1772 in CT

In June 1784, William Abbe was named Executor of his father Gideon Abbe's estate.[2] By August 2, he is reported to have embezzled some of the estate and "absconded". [3] His brothers Solomon and Elijah were selected as administrators of the estate.
