Susanna Abbott, the daughter of Nehemiah and Remember (Fiske) Abbott, was probably born about 1697 (based only on her date of marriage) in Ipswich, Essex County, (then) Province of Massachusetts Bay.[1] John Abbott, son of Nehemiah, deeded Susanna Abbott about 2 1/2 acres of thatch ground lying westerly of Plum Island, pertaining to his father's estate, from which it is concluded they are of the same family.[1]
(Note: I have not been able to locate this record in Essex County Deeds, supposedly Vol. 48:17 per Lemuel Abbott.[2])
Susanna was married to Abraham Hobbs on 17 September 1719 in the Hamlet parish of Ipswich (later the town of Hamilton),[3] Essex, (then) Province of Massachusetts Bay, by the Rev. Samuel Wigglesworth.[4][5]
Abraham and Susanna's death dates and locations are unknown as no death or probate records appear to have been recorded.
