DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Deborah by comparing test results with other carriers of her ancestors' mitochondrial DNA.
Mitochondrial DNA test-takers in the direct maternal line:
The Deborah Abbott who was married to Josiah Brockett-107 was the daughter of Daniel Abbott and she was born 22 April 1694. The Deborah Abbott represented by this profile was not married to Josiah Brockett-107. I've removed him as her spouse.
Edit: I've also removed her daughter, who belongs to the other Deborah Abbott.
Abbott-5758 and Abbott-845 appear to represent the same person because: The Jacobus reference in Abbott-5758 says Deborah Abbott who married Josiah Brockett was the daughter of Daniel Abbott. If these Deborah Abbotts are two different people, Josiah Brockett should be removed as spouse (from Abbott-845 unless a better source for Deborah of Norwalk's spouse can be found). Can we discuss?
Abbott-5758 and Abbott-845 do not represent the same person because: There were two Deborah Abbots in connecticut at this time. One was born in New Haven and was the wife of Josiah Brockett with parents Daniel and Hannah. The second was born in Norwalk with parents Jonathan and Sarah.
I made a mistake requesting the two should be merged.
Abbott-845 and Brockett-329 appear to represent the same person because: Could these two be the same person? Not having info on the one does not make it clear if it is or not.
Edit: I've also removed her daughter, who belongs to the other Deborah Abbott.
