Research Notes
DISCONNECTED erronous parent [[Abbott-844|Jonathan II], who was not married until 1729 to Lydia Young. Since Jane was born in 1716, she could not have been Jonathan II's daughter. It is more likely that Jonathan II was her brother, and her correct father was Jonathan I. However, since Jane's birth record does not name her mother, there needs to be further evidence that Jonathan I and wife Sarah Olmstead were her parents.
