Biography

Thornton Adams was born in 1813 in Goochland, Virginia, possibly to Nathan Adams and Ester Darter. He married first Elizabeth H Chilton about 1835 in Robertson County, Tennessee. He married second Ruth Tune on 30 Aug 1870 in Clinton, Illinois. Children with Ruth: Catherine, Andrew, Levi Allen, Adams E, Narcissis, Wiley. He died in Jun 1880 in Calico Rock, Baxter, Arkansas.

If thornton was born in 1813 and Thornton's father, Samuel, died in 1794, we have a problem with the dates.
