NOTE: Champ Adkins had a proposed first name Hezekiah, but no records have been found. Another man Hezekiah Adkins, born in 1834, was living in Wayne County, West Virginia,[1][2][3]

Champion Adkins was born September 23, 1833, in Virginia, USA (now West Virginia). Hezekiah Adkins ... He passed away December 10, 1923,in Branchland, Cabell County, West Virginia, USA.[4][5] He was buried December 12, 1923, at Bartram Cemetery.[5]
