Origin

Matthew was born c. 1719 at Five Forks, (now Powhatan County), Virginia Colony. Alternate birth place Manakin, Henrico (Goochland formed in 1728), Virginia Colony.

Note: Manakin has been in Henrico, then in 1728 Goochland, then in 1749 Cumberland, then in 1777 Powhatan Counties. [1]

Death and Legacy

Matthew died in 1799 at Manakin, Goochland County, Virginia Colony.

Anthony was born about 1719. He passed away about 1798.

Children of both marriages? I see no half siblings. On all accounts that I find, only a portion of the children are listed and as Christian's children. I also cannot find where her name ends with an A.

Who is Isaac Godwin's mother? The marriage beween his father and Nancy Jane Binnion ended in 1750. Isaac Godwin was born 30 Dec 1751 which is 7 months after his father married Christiana Worley. And Nancy Binnion died the day after Isaac Godwin was born.
