Daniel Alden was born to Joseph Alden and Hannah Dunham Alden on 29 Jan 1691/1690 at Bridgewater, Plymouth, Massachusetts Bay. He died 3 May 1767 at Stafford, New Haven, Connecticut.

He was a descendant of Mayflower Passengers John Alden and his wife Priscilla (Mullins) Alden.
