Biography

Simon son of John Andrews and Rebekah Wines, one of at least two of their children to have left England, Simon for New Zealand and William to Canada..

There is a rumour that another of his siblings also emigrated, possibly to Australia but the family story may be confusing which side of William's family the Australian emigration was for.
From the son of a weaver in Somerset, to a nursery man in Taranaki, living through rather turbulent times.
