Origin

Westwood Armistead was born c. 1720, probably at Elizabeth City County, Virginia Colony, where his father was sheriff.[1] He was a son of Anthony Armistead and Elizabeth Westwood.[1]

Birth date 1715 is a guess, based on his first child's age (underage) at the time of his death in 1756.

Westwood married to Mary Tabb, daughter of Col John Tabb of Elizabeth of Elizabeth City County, Virginia and Mary (Schlater) Tabb.[1]
