Biography

Anthony was born in 1727 in Warwick County, Virginia ( Now Newport News). He was the son of Anthony Armistead and Elizabeth Westwood. He died in 1819. [1]

Anthony immigrated about 1756 in Northampton County, North Carolina.

Anthony married on 15 September 1758 Mary Tucker (daughter of Anthony and Mary Curl Tucker). These are their known children:

  2. Anthony Armistead, III 1758 -1841 Died Wilkerson County, North Carolina

Armistead-146 and Armistead-1241 appear to represent the same person because: same information. he is the II not the III

I think we’re missing a generation. Anthony Armistead Sr., listed as his father Armistead -123 died in 1726, a year before this person was born. Hannah (Ellyson) Armistead died in about 1728. All of their other children were born in the 1670s.

Armistead-146 and Armistead-412 appear to represent the same person because: I believe the dates on Armistead-146 are more correct, but they appear to be the same persons.
