Charlotte Wear Armstrong was born on September 23, 1807 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Her parents were Robert Armstrong III and Elizabeth Wear. She was the fifth of twelve children.
She married Samuel Armstrong on March 15, 1824 in Knoxville, Tennessee, with whom she had no children.[1][2]
She married a second time to Henry Baldwin on February 9, 1829 in Knoxville, Tennessee.[3][4] They had seven children, all born in Tennessee.
Charlotte passed away at an age of 46 on April 20, 1854 in Knoxville. [5]
