Biography

Oliver de Audley was the son of James Audley by his second wife Isabel.^[1]

Research Notes

Douglas Richardson notes that Oliver was living "19 May 1359 (date of settlement). He died without issue presumably before 4 May 1366."^[2]

Oliver is also found in a 26 April 1360 settlement.^[1]

Parliamentary proceedings of 4 May 1366 refer to sons of James Audeley and Isabel, naming James and Thomas in terms which could imply they were the only sons alive at the time. However, the assumption that Oliver had died before that date may be incorrect.^[3]
