John Averill performed Patriotic Service in New Hampshire in the American Revolution.

John Averill is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A003900.

John Averill was born in Middleton, Massachusetts June 2, 1740. Died 21 May 1815. [1] John's parents were Paul and Zurviah. The Middleton Vital Records show his birth Jan. 2, 1740. [2]

He married Mary Bradford of Amherst. She was born in Middleton in 1742 and died August 21, 1814. [1] They settled in Amherst in 1763. Their children were Naomi, Daniel, Mary, Anna, John Jr and Jesse. [1][3]
