A soldier during the Revolutionary War serving in Capt. James Hosley's company, Col. William Prescott's regiment, which marched on the alarm of April 19, 1775. [1] [2] [3]

Ebenezer Ball was born on September 2, 1756, to Ebenezer Ball and Rebecca Butterfield. [4]

Ebenezer first married Sarah Shattuck on 13 Dec 1781 in Pepperell, Middlesex, Massachusetts. Together they one daughter, Sarah, in 1872. [4]

Ebenezer married second Hannah Smith on 26 Jun 1786 in Townsend, Middlesex, Massachusetts. Hannah died in childbirth to their son, Ebenezer on 4 April 1787.

Ebenezer married third Phebe Weston on 4 Oct 1787 in Townsend, Middlesex, Massachusetts. [4]

Together they had eight children between 1788 and his death on December 5, 1837.
