1 Why do you have a middle name of Eleanor? She was always known as Margaret.

2 Where did you get her date of birth and date of death?

3 Where's your source for her place of birth and place of death?

4 She WAS NOT born in Tutbury Castle. Tutbury Castle belonged to the Ferrers family and then to King Henry II, King Henry III, King Henry's son Edmund of Lancaster. Edmund's son Thomas made the castle his primary residence from 1304-1319. See link below.

5 Margaret's dad (if she is a Bardolf) Thomas was born at Watton At Stone, Hertfordshire and died at Wormgay, Norfolk. Her mother Agnes was born in Hertfordshire. Tutbury Castle was in Staffordshire.

6 Douglas Richardson states Adam de Welles 3rd Lord Welles was married to Margaret. NO LAST NAME. See link below. Burke does say Margaret was a Grandison. Doug Richardson doesn't nor does Cawley. So she might or might not be a Grandison.

PLEASE DO NOT use Marlyn Lewis as a source. The website is unreliable. Most of your sources are from there. For example Marlyn sites Complete Peerage Vol. IV page 146. Page 146 is about the Duke of Hamilton!! On page 74 it states info about William Grandison who married Sybil Tregoz but it doesn't list all of their children. Only their son Peter.

last source says "citing....." citing what? The only source I can find that gives parents for Margaret is Burke's D&E Peerage. If that is what Wiki is hanging its hat on, then it should be so stated. Page 572 gives her father as John Bardolf, and page 22 gives her mother (by inference) as Elizabeth Damory.

Bardolf-31 and Bardolf-2 appear to represent the same person because: Same name, same spouse, same parents, same birth date
Bardolph-7 and Bardolf-2 appear to represent the same person because: Same name, same spouse, same parents. 1312 seems to be a decent estimated birth based on parents, spouse, and childrens' birth years
Bardolf-2 and Bardolf-94 appear to represent the same person because: same name, father, siblings, location, dod

source citation on Bardolf-7 says dad was John. The third profile for Margaret attached as wife of Adam has father as Thomas. Lewis has Thomas as father also:

update: Richardson doesn't show a maiden name for the mother of John, 4th Lord Welles, but other sources say her maiden name was Bardolf. She was removed as wife John.

Richardson shows only marriage to Maud de Roos for John de Welle, 4th Lord Welles. Could you check your sources? (I didn't see a Bardolph wife for any John Welles in a quick look through WELLES in Richardson's Royal Ancestry - Vol V pp 331-338)
