Biography

Joseph was born in 1719.

"Joseph and Sarah (Jennings) Bartlett were Patriots in the truest sense of the word and demonstrated it by giving their five sons to the Army of the Revolution. Jonathan became a Sergeant, Aaron, Corporal, Joshua, Ensign and Asa and Joseph were privates through most of the war." [1]
