William was born in Dec 1707 in Henrico County, Virginia Colony.[1] He was the son of William Bass and Mary Fail.
First Marriage
William Bass, Jr. married Martha Clay on 6 May 1731.
Second Marriage
After Martha's death, he married Mary Walthall on 31 October 1747 in Virginia.[2]
He passed away in January 1775 in Chesterfield County, Virginia.
Family Bible
There is a Bass Family Bible from Chesterfield County, Virginia which was donated to the Library of Virginia. A transcription of the information was published in "The Virginia Genealogist."[3] Based on this Bible, a family structure was created by George Leon Bass and his wife Emily.[4] All the details will not be entered here; just those relevant to this William Bass, Jr. and his father.

there is definitely something wrong between these two: Bass-2846 and Bass-233. If they aren't duplicates, then someone has transposed the EXACT same dob and death AND spouse. One of them is incorrect though I couldn't tell you which. There seems to be incomplete and erroneous data available for both persons.
