Private Peter Bellows served with 16th Regiment, New Hampshire Militia during the American Revolution.

Timeline

Peter was born on 26 December 1738 in Lunenburg, Worcester, Massachusetts. He was the son of Benjamin Bellows Jr. and Abigail (Stearns) Bellows.[1][2][3]

When Peter was 26 he married Mary Dudley (Chase) Bellows (1751-1830) on 12 December 1764 in Walpole, Norfolk, Massachusetts.[4][5]

From 1790 to 1810 census records show Peter (age 52~72) living in Charlestown, Cheshire, New Hampshire, United States.[6] [7] [8]

Peter died at the age of 87 on 5 April 1825 in Charlestown, Sullivan, New Hampshire, USA[9][10][11][3] and was buried there.[12][3]

Probate: 13 September 1825 in Cheshire, New Hampshire, USA.[13][14]

Peter is buried in Charlestown, New Hampshire. He moved to Walpole at age 14 and at age 21 was appointed constable of the place. He married Mary Dudley Chase of Cornish, NH in 1764[15] and finally settled in Charlestown.
