Biography

Daniel Benedict, son of Samuel, was born 8 March 1729/30.^[1]

He married (Unknown) Hoyt.^[1]

He married May Seymour,^[1]

His will is dated 21 August 1776 and proved on 24 October 1776 in Fairfield. He mentions his wife Esther, his one son, Thaddeus, and eight daughters who are not named, and his wife is pregnant at the time of the will.^[2]

In 1785, the estate distribution was set out to the widow, Thaddeus, Rachel, Annah, Mary, Esther, the heirs of Sarah decd., the heirs of Jemima, decd, the heirs of Katherine, decd, and the heirs of Abigail, decd.^[3]
