James Berry was born about 1698 and died about 1737. Possible father, Phillip. He married Grace Powell 28 May 1723 in Saint Pauls Parish, King George, Virginia, British Colonial America[1]

Berry-9773 and Berry-287 appear to represent the same person because: same wife, approximately the same death date, and approximately the same death location.

Birth date on first individual is consistent with other data in second individual

James Berry and Grace Powell are given as the parents of Margaret Berry who married Joseph Strother on 5/28/1724 per "Genealogies of Virginia Families (from Tyler's Quarterly)", Volume III page 376.

Because Margaret Berry must have been at least twenty years old at marriage, James Berry born in 1698 could not be her father.
