Sarah Bidwell, daughter of John Bidwell, Jr. and Sarah Wells, born August 19, 1681, [1] bapt. Oct. 23, Hart 2d Ch., 1681 at Hartford, Conn. She died testate Dec. 3, 1744 at Wethersfield, Conn.
On November 20, 1707 [2] at Hartford, Conn. by Rev. Timothy Woodbridge, Sarah married 1 Capt. Joshua Robbins, Jr., son. of Capt. Joshua Robbins, Esq. and Elizabeth Rose, born October 21, 1681 at Wethersfield, Conn. He died May 30, 1733 at Wethersfield. They had eight children born at Wethersfield.
On May 3, 1739 at Wethersfield, Sarah married 2 as his 2nd wife, Capt. Thomas Wells q.v. Wells, Sr., son of Capt Robert Wells q.v. and his 1st wife Elizabeth Goodrich, born in May 1676 at Wethersfield, Conn. He died Sept. 21, 1741 at Wethersfield. There were no children of their marriage. Thomas had four children by his 1st wife, Hannah Warner.
