Deliverance Blackman was born in 1637 in Stratford, Fairfield, Connecticut. He was the son of Adam Blakeman ^[1]

'"Inclined to wildness in his youth, he was accused of the paternity of Mary Benfield's child in 1665.^[1]

Deliverance settled in Stonington, Connecticut, where he married Hannah.^[1][2]

It is here that we find Hannah the WIFE of Deliverence Blackman, Blakman, her second husband. Hannah OSBORN, OSBORNE, OSBOURNE Ashcraft was the widow of John Ashcraft who died in 1680. In regards to this NOTE: his father's profile says he married Hannah Bonfield. Torrey's New England Marriage prior to 1700, says merely Hannah ____. John Ashcraft per Torrey: "ASHCRAFT, ASCRAFT, ASHCROFTE, John & Hannah OSBORNE, prob. m/2 Deliverance BLACKMAN; 12 Sep 1670; Stonington, CT" - But marriage record 12 sep 1670 not found. End of Note. There are three separate sources claiming the marriage of Hannah Osborne born 1651 to John Ashcraft in 1670. ^{[3][4] [5]} Perhaps the original record was destroyed over time, but there were three different sources using the same dates for the marriage of John Ashcraft, Ashcrafte, Ashcrofte and Hannah OSBOURNE, OSBORNE, OSBORN born 1651.
