Biography
John Samuel Blackwelder was born 22 Dec 1885 in Cabarrus, North Carolina, United States[1]. He was the fifth of seven children born to Julius Blackwelder and Harriet Louise Furr.[2]
John married Lula Cook Blackwelder (1886 - 1952) on 12/23/1908[3].
He later married Daisy Vincent.
His occupation was Carpenter.
He had a daughter Louise Blackwelder Piercy (1921 - 2016).
He died 29 Jun 1970[4] at the Western NC Sanitorium of pneumonia and tuberculosis in Black Mountain, Buncombe, North Carolina, United States, and was buried in Mallard Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Mecklenburg, North Carolina, United States.[5][6][7]
