Biography

Miriam Blakeman was born on February 8, 1670, in Stratford, Connecticut to James Blakeman, 25 and Miriam Wheeler, 22. She married Joseph Northrup in about 1688 and they had four children. After Joseph's death in 1700, she married John Smith and they had three children together between 1702 and 1706. She died on July 31, 1709, in Milford, Connecticut, at the age of 39, and was buried there.[1]
