Biography

Willis was born about 1827. He is the son of Conley Blankenship and Martha Lester. He married Mary Jane Smith/Smyth in Tazewell Virginia in 1847 [1]. Willis and Mary Jane had at least one child, Alafar R. "Allie" Blankenship (1850-1899) [2].

Willis was still living at the time of the 1850 census, but passed away later that year [3].
