Samuel Boone was born near Chalfont, New Britain Twp, Bucks Co., PA, to Squire Boone & Sarah Morgan. [1][2]
Samuel Boone performed Patriotic Service in Pennsylvania in the American Revolution.
Samuel Boone is a DAR Patriot Ancestor.
Samuel was a Revolutionary War soldier who married Sarah Day in PA in 1757. [citation needed] [3]
Samuel and Sarah Day Boone and their children were among the charter members of Boone's Creek Baptist Church[4]
He died near Athens, Fayette Co., KY, at the age of 80; his body was interred in 1816 at this historical site (Boone's Station Farm).[5]

It is said Sarah (Day) Boone was a young Quakeress of education who taught her young brother-in-law Daniel Boone to read and write.
