George W. Bost was born 19 March 1859 in Jackson County, Illinois to William Allen Bost and Amanda Crews. He married twice; first to Alma Bouscher on the 21st of April 1894[1] and after her death in 1899, married Louisa Maria Weilmuenster the 29th of August 1900 in Jackson Co., Illinois.[2]

George died 28 December 1934 in Jackson Co., Illinois and is buried in Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery.[3]
